Second Team operates 'Supercoder,' an AI-based remote employment platform for Korean companies facing labor shortages. The company offers a matching service, connecting pre-vetted talent from around the world with companies that need them.

In 2024, the company received a ministerial award from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, officially recognizing its efforts to resolve the IT industry's labor shortage and connect global talent. The founders were convinced that with excellent talent constantly emerging from various countries like India, Vietnam, and Africa, companies needed to look beyond domestic hiring and broaden their horizons globally. With the goal of solving the labor shortage by connecting this worldwide talent with Korean companies, they founded Second Team in 2021.

Supercoder is an AI-based remote employment platform with a pool of over 110,000 developers from 115 countries. When a client company posts a job opening, they can begin remote collaboration with an international developer quickly—within two weeks on average—and at a cost up to 40% lower than hiring a domestic developer. The platform matches companies around the world with the top 5% of international developers who have passed a rigorous 4-step verification process.

Supercoder has been connecting top international talent, including graduates from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), with the Korean IT market.

Notably, it was selected as the operating company for the '2024 Overseas SW Talent Matching Program,' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by the Korea Venture Business Association. Through this, it has played a significant role in resolving the hiring difficulties of Korean ventures and SMEs by connecting them with Indian developers.

While the existing Supercoder service was developer-centric, this year the platform plans to expand its scope to include roles in marketing and sales, supporting global companies in hiring both domestic and international talent. It recently launched the 'AI Interviewer' feature, which automatically generates and conducts interview questions by analyzing job postings and candidate resumes. This service shortens the talent verification process and provides a comprehensive job-fit assessment report.
